Toyota Rav-4 or Corolla?

I'm currently driving a 2016 Ford Escape base model. It's bare bones of course and has no tech. I recently paid it off and I know I probably shouldn't jump right back into a car loan but this car is sooo boring. I must note nothing is wrong with my car it's been so reliable. I know neither of these cars are cool but I'm totally in love with the 2019 versions of both of these cars. Full of tech and safety features. All I have is a backup camera and Bluetooth lol. Is it hard to go from a small CUV to a car? The corolla is cheaper and that's only why I'm considering it. Or should I just keep my car longer?

The Rav 4 and Corolla both have much better than average reliability and high resale value.

You are driving a 2 to 3 year old car that costs you nothing to finance and you want to throw it in and get stuck in finance again?

I was young once.took me a long time to learn that MONEY does not grow on trees. If you have the CASH go buy a new car! If not, don't put your money into a finance company, put it in your wallet and save up for a "non-boaring" car. Cars simply get you from one place to the next. The speed limit is the same for anything you drive. That's just an ol' guy's opinion BUT. I bought my last three cas for cash and made sure they were one-two years old with under 15K on them! Let someone else pay the depreciation - cars are NOT an asset they are a major expense. Assets grow in value, cars shrink in value! Yes, there may be some "better technology" in the newer vehicles. But does that mean you have to have it to live?

I would get the RAV4. More room, all wheel drive so you are less likely to get stuck, higher seating position so you can see better. If you keep your cars for ten years the slightly higher price works out.
