Subwoofer not working despite being given power?

I just recently in purchased a sub

Infinity Reference 1260w 12-inch 1200-watt Hugh Performance Subwoofer (Single voice coil) to be more specific.

An amplifier,

Planet Audio AC1200.2 Anarchy 1200-watts Full Range Class AB 2 channel 2 ohm stable amplifier

And some planet audio cords to go with it

Planet Audio Pak4 4-gauge Amp Installation Kit

I have everything hooked up in my 2010 Ford Escape XLT w/Moon&Tune.
The subwoofer is connected to the factory sub in the rear of the vehicle. Deposited power getting to the sub, it won't hit.

Check your connections inside the box, and make sure the wires are going to the speaker and it's connected in phase. Or plus to plus minus to minus.

I Just recently installed a new deck in my 93 ford tempo and it wouldnt turn on with the yellow wire connected, so we instead connected it with he red wire and that worked but the deck will no keep it's memory now, I'm not entirely sure if I'm giving enough information but feel free to ask me questions, thanks for the help! Not only down the memory not stay, but it very often shows an error alert and stops working completely and i have to reset the deck
