Radio/CD, the radio works, but not the CD?
I have a Ford Escape( 2005 ) factory radio/CD,6 disc, the radio works but not the CD, push the CD button, word "wait" ap-pears, beeps, but thats all it does, won't eject the loaded CD's either, bought another used factory radio just like the one I had, it's does the same thing!
Why would you buy a USED car stereo? - maybe that's why it was used - it didn;t work
The constant in this is the CD itself. Try a different CD and make sure it's a good one by playing it on another unit first.
- I too having similar problem with car radio it's not asking for code but not picking up stations? It shows the radio station number but doesn't tune into it I've tried all sorts you can her it searching for station but just doesn' find it. Tried menu button TA settings even manually. It did work just recently bought car haven't got manual I think I pressed something & lost channels. It's RDS 5000 ford ka radio any suggestions?
- I have a 2000 dodge caravan and the rear heat works great but the front heat blows cold? The blower motors all work fine, has new water pump and brand new coolant. The top vents in the dash blow lukewarm warm but if you switch it to defrost it comes out ice cold but the rear heat still blows super hot air. Coolant level is full. I've read about the blend door could that be the issue? Could a coolant line to the front dash be clogged? I'm a ford mechanic but kinda stumped and have never worked on a dodge.
- I enter my code on the radio press 5 but not working? I have obtained the code by pressing 1&6 on the radio and that code has worked in the past in my 2005 Ford Mondeo
- Ford F 450, 1997, gas gauge works, but switch won't go the second rear tank? I replaced the switch same thing, only reads front tank and rear tank stays full. I had the solenoid replaced on the frame 15 months ago, could that be bad again, that is over $400? I have two gas tanks, front and rear. Switch won't switch to rear tank? Reads front tank only, even when switched to rear tank. I replaced the switch, cost $62. The rear tank is full, Edith. It is full because I can't access the fuel.
