How do I go about removing the rear interior panels on my 2005 Ford Escape XLT?
How do I go about removing the rear interior panels on my 2005 Ford Escape XLT?
Hm
Look in the repair manual.
I do have the Haynes book, but it does not tell me how to do that
Use a sledge hammer, brick, cinderblock, or some other big rock to smash out the back window, then aim the big hammer at the back panel and let'r rip!
I'm kidding. Any interior panel usually just pop out. If you see little button things on the panels they're probably hiding screws. Pop the buttons off and take the screws out. There's usually a screw in the panel where you grab the door from the inside to close it and a screw on each corner but I don't and refuse to work on F words.
If I would do some work on an F word the only tool I would use is a BFH.
I don't know
It's easier to just remove the car from the panels than to try removing the panels from the car.
- My buddy has a 99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 that is leaking oil from rear passenger wheel. Any ideas on why? The brake cover is not pushed all the way against the hub. There's a half inch gap between them. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. So it has nothing to do with the wheel bearing?
- How do I determine the tooth cound on a flywheel without removing it? I have a 1966 ford ranchero with a 351 windsor motor in it, the starter went out on it the other day and I need to know the tooth count on the flywheel so I buy the right starter, is there a way to do this without removing the whole thing?
- Does replacing the timing cover gasket on a 2014 ford focus require removing the motor? My car is leaking oil at the timing cover gasket, can the dealership perform this repair with the motor installed or does it have to be removed?
- 2005 VW Golf 1.6 or 2005 Ford Fiesta Zetec S 1.6 2005? First car for a 17 year old who has just passed his licence. Both cost similar amounts for purchase and for insurance.
