Can I replace and instrument panel on a 2008 Ford Escape?
I removed my instrument panel to determine what was causing my gauges and dashlights to turn off while driving. After removal it appesars the plug on the back is loose to the board. I don't know how to fix this, but was wondering if I could replace with a different panel myself or does a dealer need to program it?
Call a local speedometer repair shop and see how much they want to fix it. Or do a search for a rebuild instrument gauge cluster. That usually runs about $125
- Troubleshooting a 2003 Ford Taurus Instrument Panel Lights Outage? Over the course of a year a section at a time of my instrument cluster lights have gone out. All other: warning lights, interior lights and gauges all work fine. Sometimes if I hit the dashboard with my hand the lights will come back on. Any ideas on what I should be looking at?
- Solar panel on Ford E150 van JMC Tiara Package. Van came w own solar setup but its old and solar panel is tiny. Upgradn to 100w panel? Can I use the cables and solar meter etc (setup van came with) to power the renogy 100w panel? Or do I need to get bigger cables etc
- Instrument panel fuse keeps popping? I have a 1997 Ford F150 and the instrument panel cluster fuse keeps blowing out. It started happening after I took my muffler off but I did put a new one on. I have replaced the fuse twice already in the past 4 days. Does anyone know what's wrong.
- I have a 2008 Ford Escape 2008 2.3l, 4 cil, 4wd. Need to ask about the consumption, read below? When I bought it was giving me 22 miles/gallon combine, and more or less 19 miles/gallon in city. Now it gives me between 16 and 19 miles/gallon combine and 13 miles/gallon in city. What could be wrong that it consuming mote gas?
