Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has called for an investigation into who leaked the letter to the press. We'll see if any Democrats support such an investigation (I'm guessing they won't).
Knowing that there was no supporting evidence and knowing that this very outcome was predictable, Feinstein may well have chosen not to ever reveal Ford's letter. Ford could and should have made her accusation public herself instead of putting the Dems on the spot. Sounds like a well-orchestrated plot to guarantee Kavabaugh's confirmation and emasculate the entire Democratic party. Well done, Putin.
