I can't afford my car, but my Father wants me to try and keep paying for it, although it doesn't go towards my credit

Long story short, my parents got me a fully loaded 2011 Ford Edge for my graduation gift in 2014, in 2016, my Mother died of Breast Cancer. I can't afford my car note as I never imagined paying for a gift. My family hit a terrible loss of income, and it's hard even trying to keep our home (which we can now barely afford because of medical bills).

I didn't pay my car payment and was going to let it go to Repo, but my Father flipped when I told him, now I'm stuck and he s trying to force me to get it refinanced in my name and I just want to get something more simple and affordable for my age. Mind you my payment is almost $400 a month.

Maybe you should ask him to help you with the payments since hes the one wanting you to keep the car in the first place

  • Starter stays engaged but doesn't keep cranking? I have a 1965 Ford mustang and when I start the car it starts up and the starter stops pushing the motor over but the starter its self won't disengage from the flywheel. Anybody have any ideas why this could be happening?
  • Should I get a new car or keep paying off my current one? I have a 2013 Ford Fusion with about 58,000 miles on it. I commute to work everyday, and my job requires me to travel, so I've really put the miles on. The original loan amount was $25k, and I have about $14k left on it. I was considering buying a different car and trading in my Fusion. Would that be a stupid idea? Should I just pay the car off?
  • Do you agree although it's bad someone tried mailing explosives to Hillary Clinton, Dems deserve this? Because look at the way Dems treated Kavanaugh who was found innocent and Dr Ford didn't even have to go to jail for making stuff up And then Hillary deleted 33,000 emails? They get what they deserve, no? How do the Democrats think they can get away with saying the stuff they do, the lies? That's why we need honesty back. We need godliness back. We need Trump and more Republicans. Vote in November
