Cheapest way to fix collision damage?
Got into a little wreck last month. Currently I'm saving to fix the damage. I need a front and back bumper, right fender and a windshield. Where is the best place to find parts? A junkyard would be cool, but I have no idea how to take off the parts. Are there any websites that sell refurbished parts? I've been looking all around can't find anything. The less money I have to save the better. I'm just fixing it up so I can sell it.
Added (1). It's a 2008 Ford Edge SE FWD
I would just sell it as is & not waste any time messing with it. Unless you plan on getting it painted which is where the largest part of the cost lies, I wouldnt even bother. Junk yards is your only bet. Only way to learn is to start pulling parts off. Can't teach someone with no automotive skills overnight on how to rebuild a car. No car info, lots of bolts are hidden
Hmm, no information about the make, year, model of car, and you expect helpful answers. Lotsa luck.
- What is the cheapest way to make my 2002 Ford Taurus adaptable to an aux port? My car doesn't have an external cd unit. Would I have to restore in buying an aftermarket stereo adapter panel and then buy a stereo for it or is there just an option of getting a cable to fit in the existing panel somehow?
- Should I drop comprehensive and collision coverage on 2006 Ford Taurus to save money on premium? I own a second car which is a 2006 Ford Taurus. Market value of approx. $2750. It is in good condition, with 63,000 miles. Stays in garage, driven sparingly. Current insurance on it has comprehensive ($124 premium/$250 deductible) and collision ($285 premium/$500 deductible).
- Amplifier connected straight to battery with on/off switch would damage battery in any way? So i did this on my ford fusion 2016 straight connected to the battery with the on/off switch but now the car does not want to start as before makes a little noise like when battery its dead but turn on after 3 to 4 seconds any suggestions? - Is damage from a car wash covered under comprehensive or collision? My mirror on my Ford F-150 was broken off in a car wash today and the owner of the wash is not responding. I need to file a claim because my deductible is 250 and the mirror costs 750. I wanted to know if it would be under comprehensive or collision claims.
