MY ford f250 1988 is trying to turn on by itself?
MY ford f250 1988 is trying to turn on by itself. I have replaced the starter and the solenoid 2 times and it worked for awhile but now its doing it again. I'm pretty sure its something causing the solenoid or starter to go bad but i can't figure out what. I would sure appreciate any help you can give.
That has to be a bad or worn out ignition switch if the switch is aligned properly. Those switches are pretty cheap.

- Can a bad thermostat in a car cause the tempature guage in the dash to not work? Or is the guage itself broke? I have a 1991 Ford ranger and have no idea if the engine is overheating because the gauge doesn't work. Thermostat or gauge? Of its the gauge do I have to replace the whole cluster?
- My Ford Transit headlights turn on in off position and turn off in the on position? I'm a new driver, just passed my test. My van has some issue with the lights: namely, the lights turn off in the on position when the dash lights come on, and turn on when they are supposed to be off. This means that I'm driving at night without dash lights as I need to have the lights switched off in order for my headlights to be on. Might this be an electrical issue? Would anybody be able to give me advice and possibly know how much this costs to repair?
- Why does my keyless remote entry/alarm reset itself? I have a 2002 ford mustang. I have to program the remote to the cars factory alarm system every time. It will only stay programmed for an hour or less. It is not the remote because I've tested it on another ford vehicle and the battery is still good. Also the theft light sometimes stays on and sometimes it will blink.
