Can I blow a engine with week injector seal on a ford f 250 turbo diesel or harm the truck driving it?
Try to do a search on Google, maybe that will work out
If fuel is not drooling out of injector port, and engine is firing on all 8 cylinders, how do you know if you have a weak seal? Just askin'…
You will lose a considerable amount of horsepower if one of your cylinders isn't performing because of lost fuel/air mixture also if fuel is leaking into your engine it could catch fire from extreme engine heat and yes blow the engine.one last thing pretty soon your engine is going to start misfiring so I would just get a new seal
Probably not. However fuel can leak onto exterior of hot engine and cause a Fire. From a O ring that cost $ 1 the most. Seal should be easy to replace.

- How much is to much blow by on a 7.3 diesel? I'm thinking of buying a 2000 ford f250 4x4 with a 7.3 v8 diesel, my question is the motor has 240000 and the owner says there's some blow by, i've heard that these motors can go in the hundreds of thousands of miles, now this truck is amazingly clean in and out and runs strong and the price is right at 6500.00 should i be concern about this slight blow by.
- How long can I expect a 2007 Ford F-250 superduty with a 6.0 diesel to last? I'm looking at purchasing a 2007 Ford F-250 super duty with the 6.0 diesel in it. Current mileage is 154,000 and from what I can find on it has been serviced fairly well and was a texas truck. I only intend to use it to haul a 30' travel trailer a few times a year and maybe some local driving around town from time to time, but not really daily use. But my question is how reliable are they?
