Adding AUX Input to 2002 Ford F-250 Stock Radio?
I'm wondering how I can add an auxiliary input to the stock radio in my F-250 for relatively cheap. I could just change out the radio for a newer one with the port, but that would cost around $150. I'm wondering if there's anyway cheaper to do this with my specific radio.
Does your radio have a cassette deck? If so, get one of those cassette tape things that have a AUX cord for MP3 players and whatnot.
If your radio doesn't have a cassette deck, you're probably out of luck without knowing some serious electrical stuff.
Get an FM modulator installed. Audiovox FMM 100a is a good one. This will give you an aux. Port to plug your phone or I-pod into, using your current sound system.
I've installed several and they work well.
- 2001 Ford Taurus Stock Radio diagram? I need to know what the wires in the 2001 Taurus SES stock radio harness mean. I have found many claiming they are for my car but do not have the same wires as me. The colors of wires I have match up to the colors in this diagram, but I don't know what it means, it doesn't tell me what wires are for say, Front Left speaker, Front Right Speaker, etc. Someone please help me!

- No aux input on 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid? I just rented a 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid and there doesn't seem to be a hole for the aux cable? I opened the center console and there's a white hole, a yellow hole, and red hole. The aux cable doesn't fit into any of them. What's going on here? Is there any place else I can find it? There's no one to help me at this time. The car rental locations close by are closed and I have a 6-hour drive ahead of me through the middle of nowhere.
