Chevy, Ford, Toyota. If you had to buy one in 2015 who are you investing your money with?

I want to hear everyone's opinion.

My answer is Chevrolet.

First of all lets clear one thing up. Cars aren't an investment. They are money pits.

Anyways to answer your question. Anything japanese since they will run for a long time with out major maintenance.

With 47 recalls from Chevy this year. That would not be one of my choices

Anything Japanese is the way to go. They will run forever if taken care of.

Chevy will be GM stock.

Ford has being performing well in the last 6 month at 11% compare to GM at 1% and Toyota -4%

Dividend are close with Ford 3%, GM 3.3% and Toyota at 2%
P/E Ford at 10, GM 20, Toyota 10

Toyota is Japanese and almost by definition, you will get more money out of a well taken care of Japanese car. Although Ford is my favorite car company so I would look around at the dealer. I wouldn;t shed a tear for Chevy after their recall shenanigans. Whole of GM is pretty out of whack recently.

Ford ; )
