Any suggestions for my ford?
I have already replaced the brakes, brake disc rotor and the Caliper. When i strp on the brakes there's a loud creaking noise but when i don't there's no noise. What should I do to stop the noise? I think it might have something to do with the brakes Thanks in advance
Did YOU do it or did a Certified Tech do it?(the brake job)
You say Disc, rotor and Caliper. Did you replace the pads?
Always do one side at a time, that way you can refer to the other side how the brakes go back together. Maybe you put the pads on wrong i don't know.
Sometimes it takes a while for pads to get seated. It should not be a LOUD creaking with new brakes on there. Take it and the sales invoice into the shop that did it. Let them diagnose the loud creaking.
- My 99 ford Taurus has a milky brown fluid in the coolant tank. Any suggestions as to what could be wrong? The engine oil is fresh, with no milky color. It is an amber brown. the tranny fluid is pink/red my car will start, however it will not leave park. The gear shift will move but the car will not leave park. someone said it could be my head gasket however the car NEVER ran hot nor did it have any white smoke. ill take any suggestions or help offered.

- I'm struggling to get the gear knob off of my Ford KA Edge (2014) any suggestions? I have tried twisting the gear knob and also pulling it lightly to see if it would come off but it hasn't budged at all, I'm very new to the interior car modification thing as I just learned what a "gaitor" is lol. The gear knob is in no way attached to the gaitor or the reversing mechanism which is a bit of plastic you have to pull upwards towards the gear knob. Any suggestions will be very appreciated, thank you.
- Any suggestions on what may be wrong with my ford sync mytouch radio? I have a 2011 ford edge sel it has a sync my touch system. Occasionally my system would shut off black screen and turn back on. I read online ford seems to have an issue in this with many of their cars. Now my system has stood black for 2 days. You can hear music and the ac works. But no screen and no phone charger. Ford is charging 130 just to look at it. Before I pay do you think its a fuse
