You need the Ford Racing 5-lug conversion kit for Fox-bodied Mustangs.
I know the later T-Birds have an independent rear suspension, but not sure if they did in 1980.
Or go find a V8 T bird and use the parts from that
- Problem when 4wd hubs are engaged? I have a 4x4 1988 2.3 five speed Ford Ranger. When I engage the manual locking hubs (but even when truck is still in 2wd) There's a distinct rattle felt when going at higher speeds like over 45 MPH. But it is not present when hubs are not locked, or when going slower. Bad U-joints? Any Ideas?
- I'm looking for a 1980 ford ranger? What i want this truck to be is a single cab with a bit shorter bed, brushguards for the bed and the front, lifted, offroad tired, 4 wheel drive, v6, manual, gas or diesel don't matter
- Is there a Turbocharger kit made to fit a 96 Ford Thunderbird LX 3.8L? I recently bought a 96 Thunderbird and want to give it some more power. I've heard that this particular model wasn't made for turbo's, so the engine won't last while using one. I was curious if anyone has had more extensive experience on this rather than just answering by theory. Either way, which turbo kit will fit? I'll probably add one anyway.
