Have brake lights no rear running light on my 2008 ford crown Victoria? - 1

Sounds like you need to replace the light bulbs or turn on your lights. Often the brake is the second filament, where the tail light is the first filament in the same bulb. Sometimes, it is a second bulb. You will need to ask for tail light bulbs at your auto parts store. Side lights are always a third bulb.

The back lights EXCEPT the brake lights are controlled by the head light switch.

  • Why are my blink lights / brake lights working? I have a 72 Ford f100 and the rear left turn signal, brake ligh, hazard light isn't working. The light workings for "running lights " but does not blink or light up when I press the brake. I replaced the bulb. I don't know where to start
  • Whorling/ Swirling noise coming from 2008 Crown Victoria Police Interceptor I have a 2008 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. It is an EX State Trooper Car. When I drive it, the car makes a whorling/swirling kind of noise, it isn't loud like a wheel baring but you sure can notice the sound. Also it seems like when the two front tires fully rotate, they act like they (or one of them) are going into a small hole.
  • Where is the brake light fuse located on a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria? I just bought a 2001 Crown Victoria. The dashboard and brake lights won't come on. Could it be the fuse. If so where is it located. If not, what else could be the problem?
  • 99 Ford ranger XLT base model. Park lights, dash lights, and license plates lights out I checked online and realized it was probably a fuse which it is. Fuse 11 in my power distribution box. The problem is I keep replacing at and soon as I turn on my lights it blows instantly. Have replaced it multiple times. So then I looked under my truck and disconnected the wiring to my taillights and replaced the fuse, it worked it didn't blow. Dash lights and license plates lights were on so I figured some where there's a problem with the brake lights. Any suggestions?
