Do you think my insurance will drop me after my first wreck?
About three weeks ago I got my first car, a 2014 ford fiesta. I was driving with my windows down and a June bug flew right in my face. At first I thought it was a bee which I'm terrified of. My eyes automatically closed because I was scared and I tried swatting. I was on a small back road so I was going about 30 mph but I swerved and hit a light pole. My car is totaled. I didn't have to go to the hospital or anything but my car is totaled. I've only had a car for three weeks thus I've only had insurance for about a month. I have full coverage through State Farm.
Probably not but expect the rate to go up
- Should I drop comprehensive and collision coverage on 2006 Ford Taurus to save money on premium? I own a second car which is a 2006 Ford Taurus. Market value of approx. $2750. It is in good condition, with 63,000 miles. Stays in garage, driven sparingly. Current insurance on it has comprehensive ($124 premium/$250 deductible) and collision ($285 premium/$500 deductible).
- If you have a car accident with a borrowed car, whose insurance are you covered by? Okay, my dad just totaled my grandma's 1999 Ford Taurus wagon. He was trying to turn and we hit a Nissan Frontier. The Nissan was fine, but the Ford is totaled, and my dad has never been in accident like this ever before. Does this go under my dad's insurance or my grandma's? She did give him the permission to drive it.
- 99 Ford Taurus: ok guys and ladies, let's wreck our brains on this? I went to store one day bought a soda, got back in my car turned the key: NOTHING. I POPPED hood no sign of anything I'd obviously suspect. Battery charged fuses good, but only half my dash indicator lights come on. Doors lock, Windows work, but get this, the running lights stay on! No key no switch just stay on. OBD Il port won't respond to diagnostic tool. Before you say PCM, think about my symptoms. I'm here waiting… Ford tech reach out and help me!
- Do you think a Ford Ranger would be good for me? (first vehicle)? I'm 17 and have 3000 saved up to buy a vehicle. I was looking at a 4.0L V6 Ford Ranger. Do you think that engine can support a dirt bike or a quad (not at the same time) in the bed or is that pushing it. Should I go with a F-150? I only want a truck so I can put my dirt bike/quad in the back and got o my friends house and ride.
