Dodge ram 1500 5.7 hemi or Ford F150 Raptor?

Ok, so I'm looking for a truck to drive to school with. I live in Oklahoma. And my house is in the country. I need a truck that I can drive on the road most of the time with, and go off-road with it if necessary. The truck needs to be fast too. And I like the ford raptor, but the gas mileage is really bad. I can afford to put gas in my truck, but I also like the ram because it's got better gas mileage, looks nice, and sounds nice. The raptor has these features as well, but I wanna raise my truck too.

Ram is better but i'm bias

Those trucks have 2 different purposes. The ram is made for work and can pull much more, the raptor can't even pull as much as a 2002 320hp v 10 f250, but don't assume it is weak, that 5.6 is no joke. The raptor is for fun. It can survive being beaten on in off road situations much longer than the stock ram could and it used too (and I believe still does) come stock with fox suspension and other cool features designed with offroading in mind. So basically if you want it for recreation and offroading get the raptor. If you need It to pull Boats and what not get the ram. Both will take a beating, both will do what they were I tended to do well.
