2005 Ford Escape dashboard/Gauges not working?
Hi everyone I have a 2005 Ford Escape that's having trouble with the dashboard. None of the gauges on the dashboard work. It happened while I was driving home all of the gauges went to zero and would occasionally come back on their own. I noticed if I switch from Park to reverse or other gears they sometimes work but only for a few seconds. It all comes on when I turn on the car but then turns off. The radio was also affected occasionally along with the power windows. I don't know much about cars but I checked the fuses 7, 22 and 28 according to the manual. Any ideas what the issue could be? Car appears to be running fine.
Must be a problem with one of the fuse, or else get the wiring checked with a professional.
You have a loose ground or grounds somewhere. Grounds are usually clustered together. You need to locate where they are and check for corrosion or looseness.
The dash cluster connector is loose. There are four mounting screws (# 1) and a single connector (# 2) behind the dash cluster (# 3). It'll take you less than 10 minutes to check.

My Ford Escape 2005 panel gauge move from 0 to 200 rpm all needle move from left to right end and goes back to normal. It happen first when I accelarate, now even when parking the panel gauge move from left to right and there's vibration it's like pumping sounds below the car or engine. Any help please!

- Dash lights and gauges on 2008 ford Escape turn off while driving? While driving my vehicles dash lights and gauges turn off and drop to 0. If I hit or tap the dash everything goes back to normal. If the vehicle is shut off in this state it will not start unless I hit the dash in the 'start' position to get thr lights on then turn it to off then it starts fine. Becoming increasingly worse. What could be causing this?
- 2006 ford escape blinker not working? My mother inlaw has a 2006 ford escape and the front pass side blinker won't work, the other 3 work fine, bulb was change and brand new, any ideas what may be the matter? I was looking and seen it may be in the computer? Anything helps
- 2005 Ford Escape Instrument cluster not working? My instrument cluster does not work all the lights stay on and the odometer will let me go in to test mode but other than that the odometer will show dashes the temperature tachometer and speedometer all stay at zero. The gas gauge does work though which is weird. Before it stopped working completely it would stop working sometimes randomnly and everthing would go to 0 and then back to the normal thing. Any help would be appreciated. Also the data connector won't work.
