Would Henry Ford be sad about the state of his great company today?

Ford automobiles are for the destitute among us, the poverty stricken, and are frequently given away on television. They are truly welfare on wheels. Henry was a great, rich man. What would he say to-day?

He would say: "Lets build more."

You just go back to overpaying for your pos car.

They are the only American brand that didn't ever get a government bailout

I'm not a ford guy but I have to give them credit for being able to tread water on their own

Still better than a chevy

Ford be doing real good making fine carz without money from the guberment.

I think he'd be more saddened by the fact that so many of his descendants had the business acumen of kale

Ford wasn't sad about anything, he'd tell us to buy his cars and stop paying people too little to buy them.
In fact that's what he did say when they asked him why he was paying his workers so much. He said he wanted to sell cars and his workers should be able to afford to buy them.
He was no socialist, he was a realist who knew that when people have money they spend it.
Oh and that was before unions.

He increased wages so that his employees would be able to afford his cars, and that is how he sold so many.

Ford is doing better than GM. He would give his company a pat on the back really.
