Will a 1992 ford 302 flywheel work on a 1992 351 windsor?
Will a 1992 ford 302 flywheel work on a 1992 351 windsor?
NO! The 5.0L has a 50 oz. Imbalance factor. 351's (Windsors and CLevelands) both had 28 oz. Imbalance. Using this flywheel will break your crankshaft from vibration.
If you had an actual pre-1980 "302" piece it would work, but your '92 engine is a "5.0L"
- What Ford vehicles with a 302 motor comes with a 4 barrel carb (and only comes 302 with a 4bc)? I have a 1989 mustang gt motor and I'm making it carbureted and I'm looking for any vehicle with a 302 that carries a 4b. I'm going to a junkyard where they don't help with finding vehicles, so it would be helpful to know what vehicles only have a 302 with a 4bc, that way I can look it up on the website and know exactly where its at.
- In what vehicle was the Ford 351 Windsor 4-Barrel put in? I got a Ford 351 Windsor 4-Barrel in my 1966 Ford Galaxie but I don't know what vehicle it was taken from lol.
- How do I determine the tooth cound on a flywheel without removing it? I have a 1966 ford ranchero with a 351 windsor motor in it, the starter went out on it the other day and I need to know the tooth count on the flywheel so I buy the right starter, is there a way to do this without removing the whole thing?
