Why was the FBI investigation so limited in scope?
That it investigated NOTHING
Did not interrogate Ford
Did not interrogate Kavanagh
Did not interview a vast majority of people who came forward
Did not investigate 'Lying under oath' about his drinking
Match was fixed from the start
Added (1). Will it do any good if any of these are proven at a later date, resulting in impeachment
Because the White House, who was the FBI's client in this case, didn't want them to find the truth. Witnesses who were eager to corroborate Debbie Ramirez's accusation were never called back.
GOP sham. Vote them out
The whole thing was a sham to begin with, obviously orchestrated by the Democrats.
The FBI isn't a bunch of crybabies that can't think for themselves. Kavanaugh talked, Ford talked, they were given the opportunity to tell their story and asked questions. The FBI didn't need to hear it again. Liberals are going to get an education when this is done.
Because Trump's FIRST statement limited the investigation and tied the FBI's hands. Trump's second statement contradicted his first statement, as usual.
The FBI is the White House's and the Senate's client.
Many people are saying this investigation is a total sham. Kavanaugh will be confirmed. Are they still debating? It's almost 4 am EDT on the east coast.
Impeach WHO?/ Trump? No, and impeachment does NOT remove presidents from office. Bill Clinton was impeached and acquitted. Kavanaugh? MAYBE.
The FBI already had Ford's sworn testimony, there was no need to talk to her.
That it investigated NOTHING
>>> False.
Did not interrogate Ford
>>> No need as she already spoke under oath.
Did not interrogate Kavanagh
>>> No need as he already spoke under oath.
Did not interview a vast majority of people who came forward
>>> False. Everyone who claimed to have personally witnessed anything was interviewed.
Did not investigate 'Lying under oath' about his drinking
>>> No need. The six previous bg investigations would have discovered an alcohol problem if one existed.
Kavanaugh will be the next USSC Justice. Get used to it.
I'm guessing that you simply forgot to mention that the FBI didn't talk to Ford about her fear of flying, despite the fact that she flew a lot… And that her testimony to the Senate committee regarding that subject appeared to be less than truthful.
The FBI only needed to talk to people who were supposedly there when the supposed events occurred.
All 10 said they knew nothing about it. Some of the 10 were friends of the women. The FBI report notes that some of the witnesses said they had been pressured to change their story.
There was no need to interview people who were not there. They would have no first-hand knowledge.
They were doing a pre-employment background check - - not a criminal investigation
The whole nomination exercise was a "job Interview" according to Democrats
- Which will be finished first? The FBI investigation of Kavanaugh or Mueller's Russia probe? Christine Ford's lawyer Debra Katz said no "artificial limits as to time or scope should be imposed on this investigation." When asked if they could get the investigation done in a week, a senior FBI official told Fox News, "That depends on the schedules of everyone we'd have to interview, including the accuser, accused and witnesses."
- What would've happened if the FBI did a full investigation on Kavanaugh/Ford? Regardless of the background check limitation Trump placed on them. You knew it was going to be a scam when they had no objection to, and jumped at taking, the Jeff Flake offer. They couldn't accept it quick enough, without one argument or wigged out rant.
- Isn't it good the Meuller investigation will be halted maybe now Whittiker will get Hillary's investigation going? Let's get to the bottom of the 33,000 emails she deleted after a subpoena. Only fair they make it even and delete the Meuller files don't you agree? It's justice Secondly, a Dr Ford FBI investigation into lying about assault charges to screw Kavanaugh would be nice
- In the dead of night, the White House announces that the FBI has completed its investigation. Dozens of people who? Could provide additional information weren't contacted. Investigators weren't even allowed to interview Kavanaugh or Ford. If this isn't a SHAM, what is? A statement issued by the White House around 2:30 a.m. ET said the FBI had completed its work. "With this additional information, the White House is fully confident the Senate will vote to confirm Judge Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court."
