Why did they eliminate Lincoln Towncar?

Why did Ford eliminate the Lincoln Towncar

A decline in sales and a shift in the market from RWD to FWD is the reason why they discontinued the Town Car/Crown Victoria.

Try a high speed chase in an SUV. There's such a high center of gravity that you will flip it on the first sharp turn. That won't happen in the Crown Vic.

That was lincolns stupidest thing they did. I would rather see ford discontinue the exploder. If lincoln doesn't make a new town car, will just have to keep buying them and no i'm not buying a mkz.

It was built on the same platform as the Crown Victoria and when Ford discontinued that the Towncar followed, as to why the Crown Vic failed, Police departments started to use SUV's and other models and there was no one left to buy them, Let them die with dignity
