Homemade Remedies for Acid Rain Removal
1. Wet newspaper with white vinegar and wipe down your car windows. If the acid rain spots remain, soak a rag in the white vinegar and apply it to the spots for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes has passed, wipe down the affected area, and the spots should be gone.
Spray a small amount of oven cleaner on a rag and wipe away acid rain spots. Wear rubber gloves to protect your hands, and prevent accidental damage to your vehicle's paint by always spraying the oven cleaner onto a rag, and never spraying it directly on your vehicle.
Dust acid rain spots with baking soda, and then use a damp rag or a toothbrush to scrub the spots directly. The baking soda acts as an abrasive agent that will break up the acid rain spots without damaging the glass.
Combine 1 part white vinegar and 3 parts water in a spray bottle, then spray acid rain spots and wipe down the glass with a rag or paper towel. The vinegar is a strong acid that will break up acid rain spots. Wipe down the glass and surrounding painted surfaces thoroughly, as vinegar can potentially damage vehicle paint.
In the event that acid rain has left behind mineral deposits on your car windows, use a very fine ball of steel wool to gently remove the mineral deposits. Rub gently to avoid scratching the glass.
Prevention
2. Reduce the build-up of acid rain on your vehicle by taking it to a professional car wash every two weeks, and apply a fresh coat of wax to painted surfaces every three to fout months. Use a water hose to rinse windows after rain showers if you suspect higher acid levels.***:D

- What CAD software do aerospace and automotive companies use? As an engineering student, I'm learning how to use and become certified in SolidWorks. While SolidWorks is great and very useful, I don't imagine it is powerful enough for companies like Boeing or Ford or BMW to find useful. So, what kind of CAD/CAM software do companies like this use? Do they also use different kinds of software to visualize and simulate their designs?
- Best and worse vehicles made by automotive manufacturers? (survey)? Who doesn't love talking about trucks, cars, manufacturers, and all that good stuff? Name a list of automotive manufacturers (toyota, ford, etc) and then talk in your opinion about the "best" and "worse" vehicle they made and why.
