Wheel bearing noise, 91 cherokee?

I've got a 91 jeep Cherokee sport 4x4 5speed. And just recently it developed a noise that sounds just like a wheel bearing going out. Happens at speed 30mph+.

I narrowed it down to the front right. So I replaced everything at once, (both wheel bearing/hubs, both axle u-joints, both axle seals, both upper and lower ball joints, the tier rod end at the pitman arm-adjusting sleeve-drag link, and bot tie rod ends of the tie rod, and the track bar lower bushings.)
Got an alignment, and the noise is still there.

I remembered my transfer case leaks so I drained it (very little and black gear oil.) And then topped it off with fresh oil and took it for a drive. Noise seemed to be gone. But now this morning on my way to work the noise was back and just as loud.

I doubt it's the front axle bearings by the diff. I also doubt it's my rear axle, because the whole axle was rebuilt completely with an Eaton Detroit locker. (Ford 8.8 axle)

It could be my front driveshaft (it's the 4 driveshaft I've swapped in one year) or the rear driveshaft. But I don't believe u-joints would imitate a wheel bearing howl.

Just a month ago I changed engine oil, transmission oil, and front and rear diff oil. (Obviously forgot the t-case) so I don't see how an internal bearing could be going.

And like I said it's dependent on speed only, not engine rpm.

Any brainstorming is greatly appreciated.

(I do know that I need new heim joints on both of my long arms at the chassis end.)

Likely your Tcase. You said black gear oil. What tcase do you have and what fluid did you put back into it? The NP231 and NP242 Jeep transfer cases call for ATF.

  • New wheel bearing and still noise? I have a 1997 2wd 2.3 liter Ford Ranger and the front passenger side wheel was making loud noise and the wheel was pulling that way and I replaced the wheel bearing and a couple days later the same side is making that noise again and and pulling that way again. It has 4 brand new tires on it and the wheels aligned.
  • One shop tells me hose is kinked, another says bad wheel bearing, what is going on? Someone mentioned we should replace the wheel because it was warped, we replaced the wheel. We then had the same issue and shop mentioned we need to replace wheel bearing. We shopped around and went to another shop that said wheel bearing is fine, but the brake hose is kinked. They state that the kinked brake hose is causing the wobble sound… 2007 Ford Fusion SE
  • Screeching noise from front left wheel on a 2013 Ford Focus SE - what is it? Cars got 30k miles on it. Its still has 6k miles until factory comprehensive coverage ends so I'm not persay worried, but I would like to fix this problem myself if its a simple fix and not expensive rather than take it to the dealership. I ain't got much experience with cars so I want to expand my skillset. Here is a youtube video for the noise. Sorry for the wind, its very windy today in Colorado.
  • Left Rear Wheel noise when taking a slight right turn? I have a noise coming from my back of my Ford Focus, ( woo woo woo ) for a while now, it's driving me crazy, I can only hear it when I'm in second or third gear when turning slightly to the right, also i just realized that when in star moving or my car is reversing for a second or two I can hear a squeeking noise. I lifted the car and checked the wheel and is moving freely with no noise whatsoever, it looked ok. I kind of run out of ideas can anyone give any suggestions please!
