What was the result of the Ford vs Kavanaugh investigation? (Kavanaugh deserved getting the position)?
What was the result of the Ford vs Kavanaugh investigation? (Kavanaugh deserved getting the position)?
The FBI concluded no such assault took place.
Ford made a fool of herself.
Ford never made an official complaint against Kavanaugh, which was why she could not be prosecuted for making a false police report.
The investigation was truncated.
The trruthfulll answer to getting thhe position is - I still don't know. All I have actually seen proven is that at one point he did like to drink…
Actually I feel that the Ford accusations only prevented even looking at other issues… Not to say they don't matter at all, but without evidence of some sort… And you had to figure even a lengthy, unreasonabley thorough invevtigation is not going to tell you much - it was too long ago, and at a time when way fewer devices were used, and they didn't leave trails all over the place…
However, that accusation did take focus off of issues that are more recent, and have more of an impact on actually doing that job fairly… I was concerned because he seemed like he might give too much power to POTUS, Still am not sure on that one - the toppic seemed to just drop… Along with quite a few other topics I still had concerns about - and a web search did not reveal enough that wasn't broadcasted to help much - yes it was a little more info, but still not enough to make or break a full picture of what to expect…
Obviously, he got it.
The fact that he lied under oath did not seem to be a barrier to being put on the highest Court in the nation.
I don't care about what he did/didn't do to that girl so many decades ago. But I DO care when LIARS are appointed to judge the laws of the country. Such a person has no moral fiber and can be "bought off".
- Which will be finished first? The FBI investigation of Kavanaugh or Mueller's Russia probe? Christine Ford's lawyer Debra Katz said no "artificial limits as to time or scope should be imposed on this investigation." When asked if they could get the investigation done in a week, a senior FBI official told Fox News, "That depends on the schedules of everyone we'd have to interview, including the accuser, accused and witnesses."
- What would've happened if the FBI did a full investigation on Kavanaugh/Ford? Regardless of the background check limitation Trump placed on them. You knew it was going to be a scam when they had no objection to, and jumped at taking, the Jeff Flake offer. They couldn't accept it quick enough, without one argument or wigged out rant.
- Trump has great confidence in lie detector tests for WH staffers. Will he accept Ford's result as well? Kavanaugh categorically denies that he assaulted Christine Blasey Ford. She has taken a lie detector test which affirmed she is telling the truth. If he assaulted her, and then lied about it, his nomination should be withdrawn or he should be voted down. Period, end of story.
- This isn't a courtroom or a trial. It's an investigation for a job interview. Polygraph results are admissible. Will Kavanaugh agree to one? Ford took one and the results are well known to the Judiciary committee. IN YOUR OPINION, WILL KAVANAUGH AGREE TO BE POLYGRAPHED BY THE FBI NEXT WEEK? Or will he chicken out?
