What do I need to buy for a system in my car?
I can't play my phone on my radio in my car, so I need to buy a new radio. I drive a Ford Tarurus ses 2001. Would I be able to put and do everything my self you think.
Depends on your skill level, really. The problem with the Taurus/Sable of this generation is the climate controls & radio are built into a single panel unit. Digital climate controls complicate this even further. Plus there may be a factory amp to bypass… Honestly, I'm just gonna have a pro do mine when the time comes.
Buy one of these

It just plugs into the car cigarette lighter, charges your phone, and transmits the music to the existing car stereo via FM. You just tune the radio to a spare channel.
No installation, no mods to the car, works in any car.
As Drunken Waffles mentioned, the A/C controls are all on the same panel as your factory radio. Additionally, the actual brains of the radio is actually in the trunk. There's a kit made to make an aftermarket radio work,

It's not exactly an install for beginners. I'd really suggest taking it to a professional.
There's other options though.

That price includes installation. This will add an AUX input anywhere you want it. It'll sound Way WAY better than the cruddy FM transmitter lanab linked to. Due to the tuner being in the trunk, you'll need a couple antenna extensions to run the factory antenna wire up to wherever you'll have the AUX installed, and then back to the tuner.

Cool
An FM transmitter/modulator that plugs inline with the antenna will do the trick. It might cost you $50 instead of a few hundred for a new stereo.
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
- Did I buy a good car system? So I just went on amazon and bought 2 12" Rockford Fosgate P1's and a Rockford Fosgate Prime amp is this a good set-up for my car I have a 2001 ford mustang
- What parts in an ABS braking system of a 2007 Ford Fusion is rubber or contains rubber? Must know what to buy and replace? I have a contamination of transmission fluid inside my brake fluid reservoir. I know, very bad mistake. I understand what this type of fluid will do to rubber and I need to know the parts of the system I need to buy and replace.
- I want to buy a car but make a measly amount of money (how can I buy one)? I have a 2001 Ford Focus with a little over 170,000 miles on it. It's not really running that well. I will try to keep it up with oil changes, tune ups, etc. But if I sell it, how much trade in value will it have? How much will I need to get a cheap car? I only make under 400 dollars every two weeks because I have a part time job so I barely have any money.
