What are these plugs for?

Referring to the two that are undone… They are in the far left corner of the engine compartment in an 89 ford thunderbird coupe (not super coup). I got the car used, and have no idea what they may belong to, or if they would be hookups for a component I'm missing do to the car being a base model…What are these plugs for

Yep - The factory only has one wiring harness so it has plugs for every option available. If you are curious, get a Chilton & look at the under-hood layout. Also, as a side note, that means that some of those options could be added 'later'. I pulled the factory powered sub woofer from a wreck & plugged it into the factory wiring harness in my Grand Marquis & it worked fine.

I may be wrong, and probably will be told by someone on here if I'm, but aren't those connections for OBD1 computer connections? If I'm wrong I don't mind being educated on what it actually is, because I'm curious too.

Looks to me it's just an aftermarket accessory that has the fuse in the middle you can see (with no fuse plugged in) so you can plug something in the left side but I'm not sure what. Maybe it's stock and it's for a Relay? Anything not working well in car? I would google a wire diagram to double check. Just leave it there for now.
