What are the major and more common problems with these trucks?
What are the major mechanical or electrical problems on a ford truck? What are more common mechanical and electrical problems with Chevy/GMC trucks? What are the major/common mechanical and electrical issues with a Dodge truck such as Ram series? Basically this questions is asking which truck has more/worse problems and which has least or less problems than others? Also which model Ram truck has the middle console shifter? I.e. SLT, Tradesman, Big Horn, Outdoorsman? Are there any Chevrolet/GMC trucks that have a factory placed middle console shifter that is automatic transmission?
Chevy… Look up "Passlock"
Dodge… Look up "plenum gasket"
Ford… I dunno, never had one, never bothered to find out.
Big horn… Lol
Consumers Reports recently stated Fords have terrible electrical systems.
- Why are there more 70s and 80s chevy trucks than fords around today? I'm not trying to say ones better just a question did chevy make more than ford or something? I see alot of old chevys driving around my area and some fords but i never see dodges at all maybe one or two every once in a wile
- What common problems do Ford Rangers have? I'm looking into buying a used Ford Ranger (2000 or newer) but I've heard that certain years have head gasket, clutch and transmission problems. I've read 2002 Rangers are known for warped head gaskets. Any other years I should avoid?
- Shifting problems and intake problems? I drive a 1997 ford ranger with a 2.3l automatic. I have recently experienced a hard shifting in my truck even when I'm not on the gas it has problems shifting. And I cleaned my air filter and filter hose that goes to my throttle body and there was transmission fluid in the hose. What can be causing this and how can I fix it or how much will it cost roughly?
- What are the common problems does a ford mustang gt have? I'm tryng to buy a ford mustang gt 2002 and i want to know if those cars are bad or not and if the parts are expensive and if they waste to much gas
