What are some current TV reality shows in the United States that restores classic cars that?
Are accepting cars for restorations? Like Overhaulin, which is not accepting cars at this time.
I want to surprise my husband somehow to get his 54 Ford finished for him and I can't do it on my own.
Please include links if you can.
There are dozens of shops all around the country that can help you with the restoration or rebuild of your husband's old Ford, but unfortunately, you will have to pay for any work that you have done. NOBODY is going to do it for free. A complete rebuild like Chip Foose and his crew does on Overhaulin' could cost $50,000 or more.
TV shows do their restorations for a lot of money, more expensive, because they document it and use other parts, rarely actual restores, but build show cars, not what your husband is likely rebuilding. You will want to find a good mechanic, and collision repair ships that may be able to help rebuilt it to his satisfaction, without breaking your budget.
I don't know but you can go on youtube and find channels who do things like this. There used to be speed channel but it was bought out and replaced by foxsports1 i believe. You can look at staceydavidschannel he has done some restorations and has great vids
- Why don't car companies remake some of their classic car models if people like them so much? Of course safety is in mind because everyone would freak out if they didn't have a seat belt and air bags in every inch of the car, but why can't some of the companies just remake their best selling car models? Dodge could remake their 1948 Sedan and Ford could remake their 1949 Custom. I could list more but I can't think of any more classics.

- What was the worst car ever sold in the United States? I'm not talking about something that was ugly. I'm talking about design, safety, and durability. Many say the Yugo. However, I don't remember the Yugo ever having a massive safety problem (like the Ford Pinto), rusting out overnight (like the Chevrolet Vega or the Dodge Aspen), or having such atrocities as motorized seat belts, slapped on emissions controls, etc.
- What are some of your favorite (unpopular) classic cars? For example, Everyone loves a 1969 Camaro SS or a '57 BelAir, or even a 1979 Trans Am. But what about a 1954 Hudson Hornet, or a 1934 duesenberg? Or even a 1934 Ford with a 1000
