I think you are referring to the idle speed actuator? This can be seen on inlet manifold. Other actuator? Is EGR valve. Check exhaust side of system. We can often get better idea of things by looking at U tube and posing questions. E.g. Idle speed actuator ford (model?) then check again for year etc .different markets used different engines so not so easy to say.'there…'
Cam advance actuators or the heater box blend door actuator? Either way you won't be the one fixing it.
The can advance actuators go bad all the time when people don't change their oil and filter every 3,000 miles.
By acteor, I'm assuming you mean actuator. Which actuator are you referring to and what Model is your Ford?
Do you mean actuator? If so, vent or window? Big difference.
- Where is the ecm/computer located in a 1994 ford ranger? Trying to find location of ecm/computer on a 1994 ford ranger, bing.com isn't giving me any help. Or you tube. I've heard under the dash, in the kick panels, between the brake booster and firewall. Anyone have a clue?

So the easy work hasn't been done because it's not entirely important.
