Was the 1977 ford Thunderbird good on ice snow?
Was the 1977 ford Thunderbird good on ice snow?
Not particularly. But years ago, all cars were rear wheel drive, and a good set of tires helped. A set of chains would make it almost up to 4x4 standards
Compared to what? Back when it was made, that platform was about the only game in town, so every cop & hiway patrol car were pretty close to the same. A good driver could make it work every day of the week. So it's more how well the driver drives then it is what car he drivers.
- Are Ford Mustangs bad in the snow? I live in Pennsylvania where the winters have been bad recently with snow, ice, etc. How are these cars in the snow? I currently have a Camry and was thinking of getting a recent model Mustang convertible.
- How much does it cost to fix/replace the gas gauge to a 1977 Ford F100 Custom pickup truck? Project vehicle. Just looking for an estimate, because that's GOT TO BE the first thing that gets fixed.
- 2013 Ford Fusion vs Subaru Outback: Which is better on snow and more reliable? 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium AWD vs 2011 Subaru Outback 2.5i Limited AWD Which is better for a 19 year old and can handle the intense Michigan winters? Both are fully loaded and have a little over 100k miles on them. Here are my top priorities, in order: 1. Reliability 2. Good on snow and ice (especially ice) 3. Low cost of ownership 4. Easy to drive for a new, young driver .Anyone wanna help me out?
- Is a 2014 Nissan Sentra SV good in the snow? I just recently got a 2014 Nissan sentra SV, and its a sedan, four door car. I believe it's front wheel drive and I live in Wisconsin where when winter comes, a crap ton of snow comes. I owned a 2004 Ford Focus before hand and it was horrible and I always slid and spun out. I'm just wondering if my Nissan will be good in the snow or should I change my tires to help?
