Truck fans: What is the most superior make? (Specifically the F-series)?

I'm looking to buy a truck that can sport a truck camper.

Does any F-series Ford truck hold up?
Plus, what would you say about thee F-series in specific? Advantages, drawbacks, etc

How do they compare to a Toyota Tacoma, or Tundra.

All four of the major full-size truck manufacturers have their pros and cons. This is something that you'll need to research on your own, based on your wants and needs. The majority of what you'll get here are fanboy responses. Chevy guys will blast everyone else, Ford guys only buy Ford, and so on. They all make decent trucks, so it comes down to personal preference.

  • Why do Republicans get upset when Americans buy superior Japanese vehicles? The only somewhat decent US manufacturer is Ford but nowhere near the quality of Honda, Toyota, Subaru, or Nissan.
  • Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, superior Ford Ranger? I owned a 2010 Toyota Camry and it broke down in 2011 upon reaching 0.6k miles. I treated it like a baby and it failed and disappointed me. My friend also owned a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and it failed to start in 2009 upon reaching 8k miles. And the mechanic said it was impossible to fix. However, my uncle has a 1965 Ford Falcon with over 750k miles on its clock and it still runs like new and he never even changed its oil since he bought it.
  • What do i need to make my truck an off road truck? I have a 2998 ford ranger. 4.0/ manual. What do i need to make my truck a good off roading pre runner? (Suspension, light, fenders)
  • Radiator fans staying on all the time? I have a 2007 ford mustang gt. My car does not over heat, but when i turn on the car and it reaches 198F, the cooling fan starts and stays on all the time and it stops only if i turn the key off. It sounds very loud. I changed the coolant myself and the next day it was doing that. I notice that the upper radiator hose is very hot, while the lower radiator hose is cold and not hard. Could it be the thermostat?
