Infamous Cadillac XLR, any good for a daily driver?

I'm very tempted to buy one of these beauties, but I'm Honda man and in the past i have naturally despised brands like Cadillac and Ford because I'm used to zero maintenance even at 200000 miles. Does anyone own this car or know owners of it? There's an amazing looking one up for sale right now. It is perfect in every way with a very low price tag of 10k. The two downsides are that it is an 04 (first of the generation is usually iffy) and it has about 120k miles on it. I want to know if this is a straight up deal breaker.

I rhink ir would be a very risky purchase, so it would have to be dirt cheap.

  • Cadillac(GM) is building an ATS-V. What about you, Lincoln (F)? Planning on building a rival? I recommend building a 365-hp, 3.5L Ford Taurus SHO V6-powered, all-wheel-drive MKZ SVT to take on Cadillac's new 420-hp, rear-drive ATS-V. The ATS-V would also be a V6, but it's gonna be a 3.6. If the MKZ sells better in terms of monthly sales than the ATS the MKZ SVT should be it! Expect a mid-four-second 0-60-mph time, $55,000+ price tag, and good fuel economy (18+ mpg in the city, 24+ on the highway).
  • Would 2015 Ford Mustang GT be good as a daily driver in the city? Just wondering. Also want to know if the 2015 Corvette Stingray would be good as a daily driver in the city (probably not) but I want to know some reasons why the corvette is good/bad as a daily driver and the mustang.
  • Doge vs Ford vs Cadillac vs Chrysler? I've recently come into some money and I'm able to buy either a 2005 Mustang, 2005 Cadillac cts, or a 2005 doge challenger, or a 2005 Chrysler 300. They all cost around the same price. But in your opinion what's the better car? I live in Michigan so weather is a concern.
  • Daily drive Ford Mustang 2002? Looking at a 2002 Ford Mustang. It has 92k miles. Has a. New sticker. Only issues I see wrong with it is some wheel well rust patches. The asking price is 2900 but the owner said they'd take 2 grand even or they'll be trading it in for a Audi car at the dealership. Is it unreasonable to expect a couple years of using it as a city car? I drive about 5k miles a year
