Why is my car leaking gas?
I have a 1995 ford taurus gl. It's a slow leak but getting worse. It's leaking from near the back. In need of details and an estimate of how much the fix with cost
How can you get that until it is known where exactly the leak is coming from - impossible?
Fuel line - crack or leaky connection. Easy fix worth couple bucks.
Are you kidding me? You've got a gas leak and instead of immediately getting a mechanic to fix it you're asking us for guesses and an estimate?! At least you won't be breeding anymore low IQ voters at this rate!
It sounds like you may have cracks in the rubber hose that connects your fuel filler neck to your tank. I noticed that my 1994 Ford truck was leaking gas after I filled up. I got under the vehicle and I could feel cracks in the fuel filler hose where it attaches to the fuel tank. The alcohol in the gasoline causes this failure and is very common on Ford vehicles. You can probably buy a short section of hose at the auto parts store or buy the direct fit hose online at fillernecksupply.com.

Maybe because part of the engine are broken meaning fuel is coming out at some time.
- Why did my Ford E350 box truck start leaking transmission fluid? So I left my truck and didn't drive it for about a week or two and 2 days ago I noticed a huge leak that came from the transmission. - My buddy has a 99 Ford Ranger XLT 4x4 that is leaking oil from rear passenger wheel. Any ideas on why? The brake cover is not pushed all the way against the hub. There's a half inch gap between them. Don't know if that has anything to do with it. So it has nothing to do with the wheel bearing?
