2003 Ford Taurus, What do You think?

I'm looking for a 2003 Ford Tuarus, it has 101,000k miles and looks mint. But, I've heard things about this car, broken coil springs, transmission issues, etc.
Should I get it or avoid it?
Tell me truth about this car.

Is ford Taurus a good car?

I currently Drive a 2013 Dodge Charger but I'm thinking about getting a car with more modern looks to it

so i'm thinking about the 2014 Ford Taurus.
is it a good car? Is it reliable for months of -25 degrees
is it spacious and is it considered a sports car at all

I read horrible reviews everywhere about the Taurus but those were back from 2008 and it seems the car completely changed since then

2007 Ford Taurus SE Tune Up?

I have a 07 Ford Taurus SE and I want to get a tune up done. What all parts do I need to have a full tune up done? I already have spark plus and wires is there anything else I need to have a full tune up done?

Car for a first time driver?

After 21 years, I'm finally getting my license.

I have some money saved up to get myself a car.

It'll be mainly used for running around town, going to pay bills, grocery shopping, and such.

It'll mostly just me in the car. Sometimes my Grandma and maybe my cousin and her son, if they ever decide to leave the basement.

Anyway, I narrowed it down to three different cars.

A 2008 Toyota Prius or a 2006 Ford Taurus or a 1992 Volkswagen Jetta.

I don't know how to figure this out.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Please and thank you.

Replaced cylinder heads and head gaskets, but car is still overheating?

97 Ford Taurus, replaced the cylinder head and head gaskets. Car started fine and we let it run for a while before taking it out for a test drive. After about ten minutes the car started to overheat again, coolant came out and steam came from under hood. We also replaced the thermostat. What other possibilities are there?

Ford Vehicle Purchase - ANY HONEST ADVICE I'D APPRECIATE IT?

Last year I purchased a 2013 Ford Taurus SEL. I paid $22,000 down in cash, and then I financed $7500. As of this past Monday all I owed on it was approximately $5900. My monthly payments are $146/mo.

However, since I have a German Shepherd, I though getting a 2014 Ford Explorer might be a good idea. I leased a 2014 Ford Explorer (MSRP $37,000) before rebates. The dealership applied $16,000 for my Taurus and then gave me a check for $3000.

My monthly payments now are $256/mo for 36 months (but I intend to use some of that $3000 and apply that to my monthly car payments).

Here is my problem. I like the Explorer, but I really miss my Taurus. My dog was able to fit in the back just fine, and he's not in there for long car rides either.

I asked the dealership if I could make an exchange for a 2014 Ford Taurus Limited edition, and unfortunately, there's nothing that he can do because I'm on a lease. They said i have to finish at least 12 months of the lease.

Since I signed the lease agreement, that's my responsibility.

The real question is this. Can I just pay $256 x 12 to take care of the 12 month minimum plus interest? I really want to get back into a Taurus.

Or do you think I should keep the Explorer? I really don't know what to do! FORD has fantastic vehicle designs these days, I love all their cars!

I'm 23 years old and I admit this is not being cost effective. Any advice I'd appreciate it.

Police officers, does car model factor into your decision in giving a ticket or a break?

This will vary but in your experience, what is the biggest factor as it relates to giving a roadway violator a ticket or a break? Lets say you pull over 2 people going 85 mph, one is in a beamer, another in an old ford taurus - does car model play a factor in general terms? If not what does assist/not assist in your personal experience?

Added (1). I've been fortunate enough to have never gotten a speeding ticket (I'm 28 male) and I have been pulled over several times for speeding (never more than once in a year) and I always get let go). I'm always extremely respectful and I drive a pos car lol. I just wonder what the biggest factor is in getting to an officers forgiving side.

Car Speakers Only Work On Left Turn?

2003 Ford Taurus SES with a custom pioneer head unit, i think they're aftermarket speakers. Wired for subwoofers but none installed, I've had it for almost a year and haven't had a problem until today. I turned on my car and the speakers wouldn't play, then the audio would play when I made a left turn that required me to turn the wheel all the way. Then I turned off the car a couple of times, restarted it and it worked fine. Then I parked my car again, and turned it on and it was back to the left thing. I don't know what's going on, but I seriously can't stand driving without some kind of audio distraction.
