Best kind of car for teen?

Right now i have a 2000 ford taurus and it has gotten so much work into it everything is brand new but i'm getting tired of fixing it. I was thinking of buying a pontiac g6. But i was wondering if there are any other cars that are better for around $4000

What is a good first car?

I just got my license and I have finally saved up the money to start looking for my first car. My parents will help me so my budget is under $2500. What kind of car should I get? I don't want what everyone else has I want something fun and cool so no ford Taurus, Honda accord, or Honda civic. I want a good sporty car from the 90s but I'm not sure which ones to look at. I have a job so I have money coming in so I would like to customize it as the years with it go by. If you know of any good reliable 90s sport cars please tell me.

Repair or re bend a Ford Taurus SE a-frame on passenger front tire?

I overshot a left turn and struck a curb on the front passenger tire. Instead of going over the curb, I adjusted and just had the tire hit right into it. Now my alignment is off with my steering wheel tilted to about 3 or 4 o'clock and the right wheel is "buckled" in a little. I took a look and the a-frame is bent heavily. My question is, should I take it in to repair and see if they can bend it back into place and then do a full alignment, or just have someone replace the a-frame entirely?

Problem with 2000 Ford Taurus A/C and Cooling Systems?

This summer my car has started to dump all of the water when I shut it off. The water seems to be leaking at the very front left side of the car. Next to the radiator. The temp is a little elevated but not by much it usually sits below half and now it sits at exactly half of the temp gauge. I have never had trouble with the A/C until this summer either. I charged the a/c and it still blows air slightly cooler than the temp outside. The fans turn on and off more than usual but they do work and it seems the compressor is working. You can hear it engage and disengage when you plug and unplug the clutch relay. I don't know if one has to do with the other but I know the A/C is dependent on a properly running cooling system. Also when I bought the car I noticed a ton of mud looking stuff in the reservoir. I will admit it probably wasn't the best idea I ever had to try to clean it out because now I think it was stop leak. Also the last two winter's I have had to clean out the heater core because it was full of rust and what appears to be stop leak and the heat wasn't working. After cleaning the heater core the heat started working again. I know when you buy a used car you will probably run into problems if it was just me I would only worry about the water leak but I live in TN and it gets extremely hot and now I have a 16 month old that needs A/C so any help would be appreciated.

I think there's a leak near my a/c compressor in my car?

My ac in my ford taurus stopped cooling for a second and i saw smoke or steam from under the hood by the compressor. I smelled a plastic-ish smell through the vents. When i shut the car off, i hear the sound of air leaking from somewhere maybe? It cooled back off when i started the car again. Just not as cool as it should for being a compressor barely a year old.

My 2000 Ford Taurus won't shift into fourth gear is it ok on a 700 mile round trip drive?

I have a 2000 ford Taurus and it doesn't shift into fourth gear anymore. Its been that way for 2 years. It runs fine just doesn't shift into fourth gear and the transmission light does come on after a while of driving it. I was wondering if it would be ok to take it on a 700 mile round trip drive? I know its not good for it I just need to know if I'm going to be stranded on the highway somewhere because my trans went out.
