AC making loud noise outside of car after I scraped the bottom of my car?

My car sits really close to the ground so I very easily scrape the bottom of my car when I go over bumps and dips too fast. I did this this morning and my car started to make a weird noise. I turned it off when I parked to go to the store and when I came back and turned it back on and turned my ac on, it started making this really loud scary noise. It would start and stop but would stop as soon as I shut my ac off. Anyone know what is happening? I know nothing about cars so yeah. Not sure if I hit like the ac unit of my car somehow when I scraped the bottom of my car. If it helps I have a 1997 ford Taurus. I just had my ac fixed back in June so yeah… I have no idea lol. If anyone can give any input that would be super great.

Can JB weld fix a crack in my transmission case?

I have a 2000 ford taurus it had a small leak and i didn't know where it was coming from so I cleaned and degreesed my entire engine bay (screwed up some electrical in the process, i don't recommend). After i found that my transmission case has a crack going all the way up it. Any ways apparently the crack had gunk from old oil keeping it some what plugged, but now after i cleaned it off transmission oil pours out of the transmission, especially in reverse. I have been told that I need to replace it entirely (which I don't have the money for) or I could try to fix it my self with jb weld. I wanted to know if JB weld will work on a crack of that size? Is there any thing similar that works better?

I know its not a permanent fix but I'm just looking to get a little more life out of the car (like a year) then sell it or something.

I'm looking for a decent car?

I'm 6'7" and I was looking at a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT. I was wondering if I would be able to fit in one. What are the size specs and in comparison to a 2000 Ford Taurus is the front interior about the same size?

Is a 2001 Ford Taurus a bad car?

I'm buying one soon, it has 160000 miles on it. That's a lot of miles. I know everybody complains about ford saying they're no good cars and you always see them on the side of the road. How long will this car last me and are they bad?

Washed my car and now it isn't running right what's wrong?

I have a 2000 ford taurus with 190,000 miles on it. I was trying to pin point a leak I had so I degreesed my entire engine bay and everything and washed it. It ran really rough and had no acceleration. I then decided to let it dry for a few days. Still it will not go, when i drive it it only goes like 10-15 mph it almost went backwards on a hill and it didn't even rev the engine when doing so. I was told it may be a bad catalyitc converter but they said that would only really effect the high speeds in the car, I was also told it may be spark plugs but with it this bad all of the plugs would have to be blown and with that the car shouldn't even start. Please help I need my car to run because I move in a week. It had none of these problems before I washed it, just a leak by the engine oil pan.

Why do they make 24 volt cars?

Why do they make 20 volt cars?
I was thinking about this the other night because a buddy of mine had to wait in the parking lot at work last night for 3 hours waiting for AAA because his battery was dead and no one could jump his car because it's 24 volt. So that got me thinking, why do they make 24 volt cars, it seems like it just an inconvenience. Does a 24 volt car have any benefits. His car is a Ford Taurus. Ps. I asked this question a few hours ago but I put 20 volt instead of 24 by mistake.
