Over the course of a year a section at a time of my instrument cluster lights have gone out. All other: warning lights, interior lights and gauges all work fine. Sometimes if I hit the dashboard with my hand the lights will come back on. Any ideas on what I should be looking at?
It was not towed because I seen the guy drive away with it and the wires were not exposed how they do it

My family has owned a Ford Taurus and a Nissan Altima of similar model years. Both cars are still running, but the Taurus has very low mileage (it's a 1999 with only 85,000 miles) and the interior is in horrible condition and the plastics Ford put in have been known for breaking. None of this has happened with the Altima, even though it has more miles. Why?
Ok, so, I have a 2007 Ford Taurus SE. I just had to have the head gaskets replaced due to the engine overheating and blowing them, the car has been running fine since, but, now, any time I go 15 miles or more, and return home, for a few seconds after I shut off the car I can hear a Bubbling/Gurgling sound behind the glove box on the passenger side. I have read and some say it might be trapped air… Any ideas? Is this a serious problem?

I need to replace the front coil spring on my 2000 ford taurus. I been told to find the spring code to find the right spring, they told me it should be on the sticker on the door. I found a code but it doesn't match any of the 4 code they gave me! They said there are only for codes for my car. The code on my car is EECC but they gave for code as follow: A. B. C. D. Which on is for my car? Am I looking at the wrong codes? Please help. By the way, am replacing it by myself and am going to buy a used one.
I have a 1999 Ford Taurus with the 3.0 OHV engine. Recently, it has been overheating, mainly when pushed more then normally. For example, we will be going down the freeway at about 75 for 30 minutes and the Guage will be fine until we park and shut it off. Then it overheats and the Guage is at the red. There are no visible leaks or hose damage and the heater doesn't blow out hot air. I changed the radiator cap. I'm thinking bad head gasket, thermostat, or heater core. Is there a definitive way to find it before the engine quits?
I have a 2001 ford Taurus se. I need to upgrade my battery and am looking to get a red top optimum. They don't have the exact fit so does anyone have any suggestions or experience in this field? What battery type to get, and what special slot to make it fit. I have 2 12" 5k watts btw
