Hi how are wee supposed to know only a Ford dealer could possibly answer this question.

What does it matter?

Only the 1995 and older Ford Taurus SHO had a cam belt that must be replaced every 100,000 miles. All other Ford Taurus models have a cam chain that normally needs no replacement and should last the life of the engine. Changing either is basically the same as on any other car but the details are always different with each engine.

Timing belts and chains have vastly different service intervals. I doubt the Taurus has a belt, so no, it is a different interval.
