I don't know what you have circled but it isn't a spark plug. Those are connected to those thick gray wires, 3 on the front of the engine. There will be 3 more on the back

All spark plugs look the same. Do a Google search and you will find plenty of pictures. Look in your owner's manual to see what specific spark plugs your car's engine requires.

By "little cover" I assume you mean the coil pack. Coil packs sit on top of the spark plugs. The gray wires in the picture supply electricity to the coil packs which in turn cause the spark plugs to fire.

From pic with circle shown. You are referring to the idle speed control valve. When this 'sticks' or fall we can get major issues with idling and cutting out etc.
spark plug will be under rocker cover which you have not circled.

  • 2004 ford taurus 3.0L v6 OHV spark plug firing order? 2004 ford taurus 3.0l v6 ohv engine firing order? I'm very new to the car world for starters, so bear with me. I was wondering what the firing order is for my 2004 Ford Taurus 3.0L-V6 OHV engine? And also, how do i read the firing order? I understand cable one will go to slot one on the coil but where do the spark plug end of the cables go? Ie, does it go in the front of the engine in the middle or right side? Any help is greatly appreciated!
