How much would it cost to renew expired tags on a Ford Taurus, the tags are from 2003?
This guy offered to do a switch for me for my Ford Escort zx2 for his Ford Taurus. I would just have to pay $1000 difference but the tags are expired for 11years now. If its a non op, how much would it be and if its not, what would it be. It seems to be running good.
It all depends on what state you are in. If you are required to pay "back taxes" on a vehicle, then go out of state if you can, and register it there. Next year, register it in your own state.
Buying a car that hasn't been registered for 11 years is a great idea. If you see any more cars that have not been registered in over a decade, let me know, I want to deal with DMV too.

Looking to upsize to a 17" but if I can't find 17" ford factory stock rims i'll just get some that would look similar to the ones already on it (found some already)
- How to undo bolts on Ford Galaxy 2003 Front & Rear brake caliper to renew disc's and pads? I need to renew the disc's and pads at the front and rear of Ford Galaxy 2003. I have the correct sockets and a large extension bar, but they will not budge (front or rear). I have tried WD40, thinking of trying a little heat, but its a bit near to the brake hoses. All suggestions gratefully received. I have a full workshop manual on this car issued by Ford which just says that they are tightened to 190Nm. The front bolts are huge 27mm and the rear bolts are 18mm.
