2001 ford Taurus won't start when its cold out?
Hi, I have a car that I'm having trouble with. For awhile I could get it started in the cold weather just by hooking up a charger and it would start right away. The battery is new and at full. We think its a fuel problem, however the heater in this car doesn't work either. Any suggestions, where do I start with my trouble shooting?
when the weather is warm, the car starts every time.
Added (1). I'm sorry, yes it does turn over.

when the weather is warm, the car starts every time. It probably needs a good tune up. If you place a shovel with some hot coals on it and place it under the oil pan will get you started in about 15 minutes. It's 15 years old; time to replace. You didn't describe not starting. Does it crank (turn over) or not? Does it make any noise at all? Hard to troubleshoot with no symptoms. I owned a 1994 Toreass, last Ford I ever bought, or will buy.

- My car won't start in very cold weather! What's wrong with it and what's the solution? I've got a Ford Taurus 2003. When it gets very cold about = it cranks but won't start. There's no problem with the battery and the cables are tightened and fixed. However when I open the fuse box and move the fuses up and down and push them down real hard it starts just as normal. Any ideas?

- Ford 2001 F-150 XLT won't start with new battery? A few days ago I learned my battery was bad so I bought a new one. I installed it and suddenly my truck won't start. I had been able to jump it with the old battery but now it won't even do that. It will crank but will not start. I have checked the inertia switch which was pressed down. I don't have the equipment to check the fuel pump or the pressure in the line. Is there anything else I can check on before I have it towed and pay a bunch of money to a mechanic to look at it?
- 2001 ford escape won't start? When I got in the car the key wouldn't budge tried turning the wheel to the right which was hard to do but finally got it unstuck but car won't start. All the lights come on but there's no clicking sound or anything?
