Sexist chevrolet commercial where they throw in Delores?
Three men can have a choice of a Chevy, or a ford with a little trailer, satellite, and they throw in Delores, who looks to be Native American? Is she supposed to be a slave, hooker? Shame on Chevrolet.
I think you're thinking too much into this.
Men just like women, pretty basic stuff.
She's supposed to be the secretary for your mobile office. Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
Everyone is offended by something. I'm offended at your assumption that someone has a certain ethnic back ground based on there looks.
I think you are asking a stupid question in the wrong category. What does Delores' ethnicity have to do with car makes? Maybe you could think a little and put your silly question in Society and Culture or some slightly relevant category.
Seems to me that the only reason the group selected the Chevy was because Delores was not drop-dead-gorgeous. Let's place a smoking-hot model into that trailer and shoot scene that again-!
I'm native American, middle aged and think this commercial is outrageous! Thanks for speaking up Aunt B. Besides, Chevy's suck.
- Why would people buy a Toyota Hilux when they can buy a better, Chevrolet Colorado? Or even better and superior, Ford Ranger. My cousin is going to buy a pick-up truck next month and it would be a Toyota Hilux. How do I convince him that the Hilux is not reliable?
- New GMC Truck advertises their tailgate (only) every commercial? Why can't you buy this working tailgate or their largest engine on their work truck? You have to get a $50K truck to get their best working features. I've never had a Ford, but I've got to look.
- Why do they treat the second and third gen of mustangs as if they weren't there? What I mean is that ford example when the mustang fan page uploads pictures of mustangs they never upload second or third gen mustangs. Then when ford made a mustang trailer for the 2015 mustang they made a time lapse of how mustang evolved. They put in the 1st and 5th gen. In that one they happened to skip the fourth gen for some reason. And when you go on wikipedia to see how many mustangs they've sold they skip from the first gen to the fourth gen.
- Misleading Ford Commercial? Right so there's this ford commercial about keyless entry. Saying that you don't have to search for the keys. Problem is, you still need the passive key. Which means if you lose it you will still need to search for it. Is this ad misleading? And if it was in the handbag wouldn't Someone steal that handbag and use it to enter the car?
