Why does my ford ranger squeak/crack as i turn when still?
When i turn with my foot on the brake without moving my ford ranger makes a weird cracking/squeaking noise. What is causing this noise, is it normal?
Time to have your mechanic check the suspension components. Ball joint boots deteriorate, crack and then you lose the grease they need to lubricate them. That's what usually causes it.
That's just the tires rubbing on the concrete
- Why is there a grinding sound when I turn over my 94 ford ranger? Just recently I started to notice my truck would make a terrible grinding sound when I turn over the key. After it turns on it runs perfectly fine. I haven't noticed anything else but that. I don't know what the problem could be.
- Why does my ford ranger squeak when I hit bumps? Recently when I have hit bumps with my 2007 Ford ranger it has made a squeaking noise. It does not make it when I hit potholes, just little bumps. I don't hear the noise when I try to push down on the truck. Any ideas on what the noise could be, and how I could fix it?
