What should I do to stop the rust and protect the bed of my truck?
The bed of my truck (1990 Ford Ranger) is starting to rust. The rest of the paint and body is in good condition. I want to stop the rust. Should I get a bed liner like Line-X or should I just get it sanded and re-painted or is there some other alternative
First Prep the bed. Do some sanding to get the rust cleaned as best you can, then go to the Auto store and get some rust killer it changes the composition and will inhibit the rust, be sure to get it underneath also. Then go get a liner sprayed in it this will be tons better than paint and the bed will last and last.

- Will my f150 toolbox fit a ford ranger truck bed? I just sold my old f150 after engine finally **** the bed after 215,000 miles(she was a trooper) I'm gonna get a ranger next however just because its more efficient on gas. I was wondering if my old tool box will fit for it, or will I have to spend another 200 bucks on a tool box?
- Pickup traction: what should I put in the bed for winter? 1992 Ford Ranger. I live in an apartment so firewood is out. Something which will not be stolen. Bags of road salt in waterproof bins? Southern Ohio and winter may be nasty; need weight behind rear axle. Looking for ideas taking up only width of bed but less than 2' front to back since I want to use most of the bed for day to day stuff. Rocks? Quarries around here but want something multi-purpose.
- How to protect car paint from sun? I have a white Ford SUV, I live in Tampa FL and it gets up in the triple digits with a very intense sun. My car is parked in an open driveway with no shade. I always keep wax on it. How else can I protect it from the sun?
