What's wrong with the gear shift on my ford ranger, They've had to replace the clutch and cylinder twice in two months?

So 2 weeks ago I had my clutch just replaced and the master clinder replaced, They were actually both replaced a month before that, but I was having trouble w ith the gear shift again and they said it wasn't properly done the first time so they Had the Master Mechanic do it the second time, and here we're again, so what could be causing the gear shift trouble because the people at the Waterloo Ford Dealership in Edmonton Are scratching their heads.

Its a 2011 Ford Ranger, 130 000 KM engine

Added (1). After two weeks you can't put the geart shift into gear, It won't go into gear from neutral

Time to have a different shop look at it

I'm wondering if it is anything to do with the clutch at all, or if in fact it's a problem with the gear linkage. I, too, would suggest you get another mechanic to look at it.

ATRA.COM they have several shops in Canada see if one in your area and have a shop look at it. But if they don't have a transmission shop look at it. A small possibility its a internal problem

You haven't told us what the problem is that you are having.
If it's grinding gears the transmission input shaft goes into a bushing or bearing that's mounted in the flywheel. Lazy mechanics don't bother replacing them. When the bearing or bushing is bad the input shaft can't spin freely when the clutch pedal is held down which results in the tranny spinning too much while trying to shift which will grind the gears.

Shut the engine off. The shifter goes right into gear, right?

Problem: The clutch disc is dragging.

There are 2 reasons this happens:

1. The hydraulic clutch is not disengaging the clutch disc 100%. There's not enough fluid being pushed by the clutch master cylinder to move the slave cylinder far enough. There's either unbled air in the system, or the master cylinder piston seal has a problem.

2. The clutch disc/hub is bent, usually because the mechanic hung the transmission weight on the disc while the transmission was being installed.

Since your problem develops after time, your system may be leaking hydraulic fluid or air is getting in or the clutch master cylinder has a problem.

Bleed the system. Does it work again?

Whoever is doing this work doesn't seem to understand how a clutch works.

p.s. What's the status of the slave cylinder? Has it been replaced? Is it leaking fluid? Is fluid disappearing?

There's likely nothing wrong with your "clutch" (pressure plate or disc).

Maybe it is the driver riding clutch?
