There's no "best" sound as the perception of sounds is highly subjective.
In other words, what I think sounds good, you may think sounds like bull manure or vice-versa.
The quietest one. Have a little mature consideration for others. WE don't want to hear your damned truck.
Best? That depends upon what YOU mean.
But to almost everyone the best sounding one is the one Ford supply. That will make the car sound as it should, will provide the correct resonant back pressure for the best compromise between performance, fuel economy and low emissions, and although they cost more than cheap aftermarket examples usually last two or three times longer before they rust out.
The best sounding one is the one nobody can hear, that's why they're called mufflers.
Just get a stock muffler… If you want it to sound like a school bus get a glass pak
