What does this noise mean?
Have a 91 ford ranger that won't start when I try to start it it sounds like a grinding noise what could that mean?
The starter gear isn't engaging into the flex plate.
Grinding when your turn the key but no startup?
perhaps the starter motor
any more info or timing of the grinding
Starter. And you are chewing up your flex plate. Replaced starter and inspect the flexplate for wear

- Noise works, but when I push it, it also makes a clicking/rattling noise? I have a 2012 Ford Focus, and while the horn works, and sounds (as it normally does), when I press it, it also makes a weird clicking/rattling noise (also kinda like a jingle sound - hard to describe). It sounds as if it's coming from behind the center console/under the center console, but it's hard to tell. Any ideas what it could be? With any answers - any advice on how to fix it?
