Issues with wiring to Car starting?
MY car will randomly not start, i pop the hood and jiggle the negative wire and it will start to work. I was wondering if anyone could help me with identify the problem. My car is a 1998 Ford ranger xlt
Remove the cable rom the battery, thoroughly clean the terminal then attached the cable and make sure it's tight. That's your problem, a loose cable.
You have already identified your problem. Clean or replace the negative battery terminal/cable.
As already stated by others, the fact that you can wiggle the cable is half the problem,. Clean it up and put it back on TIGHT, and your problem will likely be gone.

- Why does my PCV valve have a wiring harness that attaches to it? 2004 ford taurus 3.0l flex? 2004 ford taurus 3.0l flex. I pulled the PCV valve out to clean/inspect it and it has a wiring harness attached to it. I have never seen one like this, the replacement part is confirmed identical with the same harness receiver. I have had no luck searching forums or the internet to explain their purpose or what type of sensor may inside this thing.
