How do I hook up the nuetral safety switch on a 94 Ford Ranger?
I have a 94 4wd Ford Ranger with a 4.0 Engine, And i put a A4LD Automatic Transmission in it, but I can't get the Neutral Safety Switch or Starter Safety Switch and now I can turn the ignition and it won't crank or even turn over and I heard that was the problem. I can tell where the plug in goes and the wire that goes to it are the same plug in but I just can't get it to go in can anyone tell me how it goes in if there's a trick to it or something?
I really doubt that the harness plug fits the replacement transmission range switch. Even if you get it started it likely isn't going to shift properly.
The trick is to make sure the transmission's are compatible. The PCM is likely not going to work either.
Any auto recycler can look up which transmissions will work in your vehicle.
- Where is the trunk safety release on a Ford Tempo? Mine doesn't have the release buttons in the glovebox and when I bought it the trunk wouldn't open. I got the back seat out but there's so much garbage and so little room I'm trying not to sift through all of it to find the safety release, does anyone know exactly where it's located?

- Out of ford, GMC, Chevy and ram which is the best in safety, interior size and reliably? I want to get a tuck for my first vehicle but don't have any family who own any and most opinions on reviews are extremely bias.
- Which Ford car has advanced safety features? I saw a tv commercial for a Ford car that has blind spot detection, self parking, and automatically brakes if you get too close to a car. I'm not sure if it was the Ford Fusion or the Ford Focus.
